Competition Terms and Conditions
- The “Promoter” of the Nicholas Street Precinct Precinct Perks Giveaway (the “Competition”) is the Ipswich City Council (“the Promoter”), ABN 61 461 981 07, of 1 Nicholas Street, Ipswich 4305.
- Information on how to enter the Precinct Perks Giveaway (the “Competition”) forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
- Entrants into the Precinct Perks Giveaway Competition will be deemed as having read the full terms and conditions before entry and as having accepted these terms and conditions.
- Entry to the competition is open to people over the age of 18 years old. An entrant to the Competition must be an individual and not a company or organisation. Employees of the Promoter or any person associated with the Competition, or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
- Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may at their discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- Entries not made in accordance with these entry Terms and Conditions will be held invalid, and will not be considered. The Competition opens Tuesday February 18, 2025 and closes on Monday April 28, 2025 (“Competition Period”). No entries will be accepted after the closing date. The decision of the Promoter to accept and reject an entry is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- Entrants must subscribe to the Nicholas Street Precinct, What’s On e-newsletter by providing a valid email address via https://www.nicholasst.com.au/subscribe/within the competition period.
- This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner. Two winners will be drawn at random within on 1 July 2025, using a digital random number generator, and will be notified via the email address provided.
- The result of the random draw is final and no correspondence and/or communication of any kind in relation to the result will be entered into. The Promoter is under no obligation to award any prize for the competition.
- Any prize awarded for winning the Competition is at the Promoter’s discretion, and is nonnegotiable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other prizes.
- Prize winners have 5 days from email announcement to claim their prize via email confirmation, and to make arrangements with Nicholas Street Precinct to collect their prize. Arrangements can be made to either receive the prize in person, via post or via email where applicable. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited and redrawn, and no conversations will be entered into regarding the prize once 5 days have lapsed.
- Nicholas Street Precinct accepts no responsibility for any vouchers that are lost or stolen after being presented to the winners, and replacement vouchers will not be offered.
- Eligible prize recipient must make arrangements to collect their voucher from the Nicholas Street Precinct in person (if applicable) and as arranged with the Nicholas Street Precinct staff.
- Ipswich City Council is collecting your personal information for the purposes of conducting the Competition. We will not disclose your personal information outside of Council unless we are required to do so by law or you have given your consent. However, to enable the Promoter to administer, judge and promote the Competition your personal information may be recorded and/or disclosed; for instance your name may be disclosed in a publication or at an event for the purpose of giving notice of Competition winners/entrants. By completing an entry form we will consider that you have given the Promoter your consent to manage your personal information in the manner described in Council’s Privacy Statement, Personal Information Digest, and this Collection Notice: https://www.ipswich.qld.gov.au/about_council/corporate_publications/personal_information_digest
- Without limiting clause 15, by completing an entry form, you acknowledge that your personal information may be recorded and/or disclosed by Council on the Transparency and Integrity Hub and you consent to your personal information being included on the database for the Nicholas Street Precinct, which will result in you being contacted from time to time with marketing and promotional information about Ipswich.
- Prize winners will each receive a $25 HOYTS gift card.
